The bread and butter of social media. A love of making jokes on the internet is what got me into advertising in the first place. I came up with the concepts and wrote the content for everything displayed here.

Client: Vermont Department of Health

Check Yourself is a harm reduction campaign aimed at young binge-drinking partiers. The goal of this campaign isn’t to convince them to stop drinking, but to party smarter, by eating beforehand, drinking water, and pacing themselves. These were a lot of fun to write.

Over the Dose combats the opioid epidemic by providing good information. Many recreational opioid users don’t know the risks. Many don’t even know that they’re taking opioids to begin with! This campaign avoids scare tactics, and instead leans into the facts.

Client: Virginia Department of Health

Okay so: You’ve got this cool anti-tobacco pop punk festival you need to build hype for. You’ve even got a contest where you can win a meet and greet with Tyler Carter, lead singer of the headlining band Issues. But your brand doesn’t have any money left over for posts! What do you do next? My friend, you get James Marsh on the case, and James Marsh gets creative. This series was put together using only promotional photos Tyler let us use and stock photography of sad dogs
